MARRIAGE ANYONE?

Here is a rough concept for a marriage propaganda poster.
Yes, the ring and format is lifted directly from the monopoly game.
I think a fimalar icon it could really help spark curiosity.

Comments:
I like it...I think it's good that it says 'Save your marriage' rather than 'fight for marriage'. I think the 'fight' may be misconstrued as anti-gay marriage with all the drama surrounding that in Portland. Good job guys!

I like it!! - and agree with the Miller's comment-
looks great!

love it!

This is really cool.

However, when it comes to the word Fight, I've done a lot of thinking about it, and have some reasons why I chose that word.

Like I said at the meeting, I really want other people's ideas, but I think it might be better to get together and have a full conversation about some of these things instead of just commenting online, as it is harder in my opinion to brainstorm and keep everyone on the same page when not in person. Also, it can be hard to express openness during constructive conversations... So, if would people be interested in getting together and having a pint and talkinga bout this? I'll schedule a time if people are into it.

Jason..
don't take it personally...I think we were all just commenting on the one presented. We can do both!

I would love to sit down and come up with a solid message that really gets straight to the issue.

We could use the nike formula for marketing/communication to tell deeper story at many levels:

attract

engage

connect

Hey, I'm totally not taking it personally. Which is part of why I want every one to get together. it can be really hard to read people's attitude during commenting, and I think that we'd have a lot more fun and it'd be a lot more efficient to just have an in-person conversation about this stuff. and in the end, i'm super excited that there's interest in the idea, and hope we can do something that really has an impact, even if it just starts in our own hearts.

anyway, how about meeting sunday early evening, my back yard. 6:30pm. Anyone interested can come and we can just get a basic discussion started. I think the first thing we need to decide upon is what we're trying to say. We need a cohesive end-message before we can ever define a look or word choices. Please call me or text me if you can come, as I'm leaving early tomorrow morning for Eugene, and won't be back until Sunday around noon. 541-915-1027.
