No Po Retreat
Sick of sounds of gun fire ringing in your ears?? The sirens singing their forboding song?? Let's retreat and go to the peace of the Mountain!
Juany and I were thinking it might be a bit easier to stay a little closer to home so we were looking at places on Mt. Hood to host a little No Po HC retreat.

This would be a beautiful spot that would be able to accomodate all of us. It would be only about a 45min. drive and would run about $185 per couple for the whole weekend (don't worry - you would get your own room too).
We were looking at having the retreat the weekend of the 24th or 30th of March. Check your calendars and let me know what you think.
Looking forward to getting away with all of you. And if you miss the sounds of gun fire I am sure Juany and Tom would be more than happy to arrange some target shooting so we all feel more at home.

this looks beautiful and I think we are good for that weekend!- but they accomodate pets so I would have a really hard time with my allergies. (dog hair throughout cabin :( ) - maybe we could search for a place that does not take pets?- I could look for one as I think I am the only allergy ridden person.
kari... i didn't even notice that part about pets being welcome in the description. you have a really good point. stella and i both suffer from allergies too so i agree with you. it would be better to find a place that hasn't seen furry, four legged visitors.
that cabin looks pretty sweet at kathyskabins.net
it's got 5 bedrooms, so that would be one per fam.
looks fun and super reasonably priced if the 5 bedrooms is enough space for everyone.

The Mt. Hood lodge would be $170, the cottage would be $180. Both have 5 bedrooms. Have a look, they are both pretty great.
